Do you remember the story of Ganesh, the dog that was abandoned and tied to a tree?
He was tied to a tree behind a house, totally ignored and left to starve.
The neighbors decided to take positive action and check on the dog!
They were shocked when they found the dog in the horrible condition he was in. They right away ran to fetch him water and some food. First they thought that the dog was abandoned and left behind, tied to that tree, but they were shocked to find a man coming through the gate 20 minutes later!
Once he was rescued,
Ganesh received a warm bath that he needed very much, to remove dirt and fleas off him.
The photo is for
Ganesh and his four new human friends after his very first bath and meal. From the beginning of his rescue, it was clear that
Ganesh is in a desperate need for medical attention.
Stephanie set up a
GoFundMe account for
Ganesh and donations kept on pouring. After a day of the issuing the fundraising page, they decided to close it because the donations as
they " “felt it was enough to care for his medical needs and other expenses.”
The four roommates felt grateful and thankful by the support given to
Ganesh and they wanted to pay forward the kindness and support shown to
Ganesh and they told Barkpost:
"All (of) the donations (that are) left over after he's at a healthy point will be used to help other animals in need. We hope that Ganesh's story (will) inspire people to donate to other animals in need."
Ganesh, beside his humans, he made new fur friends. He found the real family that he deserves with four humans and four sibling dogs:
Simba, a Labrador,
Piper, a German Shepherd,
Leighla, a mixed breed and
Kitkat, the little cat.
Now
Ganesh has the best chance to experience what every dog deserves:
"Ganesh came into our lives afraid and never having experienced compassion before. The most beautiful experience so far has been the endless gratitude and loyalty he has shared with each of us. He speaks "thank you" with his loving eyes every time you look at him... All that matters to him at this point in life is giving and receiving more and more love. Well, that and food!".
Share this inspirational story with your family and friends and encourage them to donate for animals that in desperate need, show your support and love!
