Dogs are the best companions, in good and bad times, whether they know you or not. This stray dog amazed the world during a protest in Turkey. It all started when a protest in turkey was set, the clashes between the police officers and the protests started on Friday during May Day demonstrations, and this stray dog didn't hesitate to join in.
The stray dog joined the protest, he was one of those who were kicked by the police officers. Turkish protesters threw stones at the police officers and the police officers hurled tear gas in return, and after what the police officers did to the protesters and to him even, this dog decided to make a move, when he found the police car moving, he decided to chase it.
As a result of this huge protest, about 140 people were reportedly detained, but you will see in the photos that the dog helped one of those protesters who were about to get detained, the man was lying on the ground, his hands were tied behind his back.
In this video below, you will see two different scenes showing the stray dog joining the protesters, and showing how he stood near an activist who was being arrested; and another scene where he ran after the police officer car to chase it.
According to Hurriyet Daily News, this stray dog was called "Garip" from the side of the protesters which means "poor" or "strange" in Turkish, had appeared before in another protest at 2013 in Gezi Park, and at this protests the dog was one of those affected by the tear gas, people kindly started to give the first aids for him.
