When the BBC Earth crew was in a blue whale populated area filming an episode, they didn’t expect something this well-timed can happen!Even if you’re in a hotspot known for whale sightings, it can still be very hard to spot even one whale. And this is exactly what happened when the BBC Earth crew was out in the middle of the ocean, filming whales for a new BBC series titled “Big Blue Live”.
When zoologist Mark Carwardine thought the day was almost over, the most amazing thing came by to surprise him.
Carwardine was being filmed as he complained about the lack of whales sightings in this whale populated area, and funnily enough, in the middle of his rant, he and the crew were surprised when a blue whale surfaced and made its appearance. It’s almost as if the blue whale heard what they were saying, and he wanted to prove that the whales are not afraid to show themselves!
