Imagine how it can be if you lived your life in the dark for a whole five years! This is what happened to a cat named Biso, and here is his touching story.
Biso the cat was unlucky; sadly, the poor cat was stuck behind the Cairo Metro Station wall for five years! He can't get out of the walls, but there was only one thing that connected him with life, a little opening that's wide enough for her hands to catch the food that kind hearted people left her, it's the only thing that kept her alive till now. Someone discovered the story of the cat, and took a photo of the cat's tail that was out of that opening. To make sure that it's a "cat", one of the workers was very caring about the cat, he was feeding her every day, he brought some food and put his hand close to the opening and surprisingly he found the cat's paws coming out of the opening and took the food.
The photo of the cat's tail and her video picking food with her paws went viral on internet; it was shared thousands of times across Facebook pages which are dedicated to saving innocent animals' souls in Egypt. One of the rescue teams decided to help the cat and let her free, but the first problem was the wall, breaking the wall without permission is considered a sabotage of public property, so the rescue team decided to take the step and start convincing the subway's principles to remove a partial part of the wall to save the cat.
The team went to the Metro station and removed the wall, they surprisingly found a 15 cm wide and four meter long, this was the cat's place to live for 5 years, it was the first time to see the light, but as the rescuers said, it was looking like a tomb. The rescue mission took about 5 hours, they left three holes for the cat to get out but he was terrified, it's not easy to come out after 5 years in the dark! Someone entered into the hole and brought the cat outside, but the cat ran away immediately and never came back again. We hope Biso is ok, we hope they could find him because he must be in essential need for medical treatments.
But how did this cat get stuck behind the walls? The worker who was feeding him daily and the one behind giving him the name "Biso", said that this cat was once a free kitten, but one day he was beaten by a stronger cat, so he ran and hid, he passed from the little hole and never showed up again, every day the cat grows bigger and it was impossible for him to come out.
