Those dogs thatspend most of their lives in cages are living in the unfair side of the world. It would be amazing if they are all rescued. The story of this dog named Lil Olive will inspire you, sadly Lil Olive passed away this weekend, but she left so many people brokenhearted andinspired many.
Lil Olive is an Italian greyhound, she was rescued late in 2011 from a puppy mill, after she lived 12 years in a cage, all what she is doing is birthing puppies, those criminals excluded every right she had to live a good life. Lil Olive was suffering, she was in so much pain, she was abused, neglected, her spirit was totally broken, but she was a fighter, she knew that she will have a happy life in the end.
After Lil Olive was rescued, she was adopted and lived with a loving owner who did her best to comfort her, she enjoyed her freedom, she went for walks, she played, she slept on smooth beds, she loved to cuddle and be hugged by her owner. Despite her endless health problems, scars and tumors and many others, she was a fighter, she decided to enjoy life, and thanks to her family, they were doing their best to make her comfortable.
Her owner Pam told Lil Olive's story to show people how it's horrible for dogs who live in puppy mills, Pam had created a Facebook page for her dog, to help rescuing dogs in puppy mills. Puppy mills industry should be vanished from the world, not every dog that had lived there was rescued in the end, lots of dogs die, and lots of dogs never get the chance of life like Lil Olive had. Thankfully, Lil Olive lovers' fundraiser has raised almost $20,000 to help rescuing dogs.
