It's absolutely heartwarming to see those humane amazing people who are doing their best to help an animal in need, they are absolutely inspiring. This girl believed that life is a life, no matter how big or small it is, it should be saved and well cared of.
It all started when this girl was with her mother driving the car, and for an unknown reason, she decided to change the usual route that they drive in, but it seems that destiny was the only reason, just to save this horse. They found a dying and horribly abused horse, the horse was starving on the side of the road. Kelsey and her mother decided not to leave the horse there, so they took the horse to their home, and despite that it was only 9 miles only to reach home, they walked for four hours, the horse had no energy, its condition was bad, but he felt like he is on the way for safety.
As Kelsey said, the horse was looking like a skeleton, when she took the horse back to the house, she slept in the barn with the horse for 5 days, and as she said, she woke up every hour just to check on her beloved horse, the bond between them was created instantly. Kelsey's mother said that she knows her as the one that gives food, but she knows that Kelsey is the one who gives love.
Kelsey named the horse Sunny, and she is expecting her full recovery, she is feeding her well and training her, we can tell now that Sunny is having an amazing life. Kelsey believes that they changed the route that day only for a reason, and that reason was to meet Sunny and save her.
