Latoria Middleton of Atlanta just loves her pet pig very much. She has raised Rick Ross since he was tiny piglet just a week old. They have happily lived together inside Middleton’s home, since he was still feeding off tiny bottles. He is now an adult pig fully developed.
Last week, Middleton was not able to find her pet. She was heartbroken, and began to frantically look for her pig. Fortunately, her dog led her to where she found the trapped pig. The pig was in a manhole, a little shaken, but unharmed. Middleton was in desperate need of help. She needed assistance to get the 200-pound pig out of the deep hole.
Shockingly, the fire department told Middleton that there wasn't much they could do, and that no one would get there to rescue her pig. Middleton had to think of a plan on her own, if she gave up this would end the pig's life, surely.
Middleton was totally shocked by the unwillingness of the fire department to help out; she had to climb down the manhole to be with her pig, then she called the media about the ridiculous situation that she and her pig were in. She kept wondering why the fire department didn't offer their help, whereas if the stranded animal was a dog or a cat, they would have been there in no time, while they just refused to help the pig despite knowing that he will suffer?
Although the fire department claimed that they were willing to help and responded right away, it is clear that there was a miscommunication or a sort of injustice. However, Middleton was very happy that she could grab the attention needed to save her pig out of that deep dark manhole.
