Istanbul, Turkey is a crowd city where hundreds of cats and little kittens wander the streets. They are never able to consider certain place as their homes. They are roaming the streets in the chilly weather.
Something amazing has happened when one mosque is opening its doors to those stray cats and kittens who seek warmth in the streets!
Imam Mustafa Efe started to welcome the stray cats and kittens to come into the mosque last year, and since that time, his generous action has gone viral all over the world!
Imam Mustafa Efe calls those stray cats and kittens as
"Guests of the Mosque" and as it is clear in these photos, those stray animals feel comfortable, warm, safe and loving as if they are living in a shelter or living with a loving families. The stray cats and kittens consider the Mosque as their own homes.
The stray cats and kittens are feeling comfortable to sit next to Muslim prayers in the Mosque, I feel like those cats consider the Muslim prayers as their guests.
This is very amazing to see that one of those stray cats felt extremely safe that she decided the Mosque would be a perfect place to bring her little new born kittens.
In the video, we see a mother stray cat carries her new born kitten, take it straight into the Mosque and go up stairs of the "Minbar" _ which is the place where the Imam delivers Islam lectures and sermons_ and we find in the video that there are 3 other new born kittens waiting for their stray mama!
Compassion and Mercy are what those stray cats needed the most and they are lucky to find a generous and kindhearted man to welcome them all! and for me this is a great man and a good presenter of Islam!
