The life of 9-year-old
James Isaac has been tough. The world couldn't get confusing and terrifying place more than that. James is a little boy with autism, he can't speak and he is so uncomfortable with being touched.
Luckily,
James' life has a bright side thanks to the assistance of a devoted, loving and loyal dog,
Mahe, who never leaves his friend's side.
Since
Mahe was introduced to his life,
James has made great advance.
Recently, the New Zealand little boy went hospital to get an MRI scan to diagnose his seizures and his devoted friend,
Mahe, wouldn't let his friend go to the hospital alone and he was allowed to go with him.
Mahe was lying beside his friend's side in the hospital!
Mahe helps James to stay calm even when
James was being put under, he stayed devoted to keep his friend safe and calm.
"He was just looking at James, and looking really worried," Michelle Isaac, James's mom, told Stuff.co.nz.
Michelle says that
James' best friend has been as important to him as the medical routine.
Mahe has a great affect on is friend's life since the day he was introduced into his life.
Mahe keeping James safe on the side of a busy road while I lock the car. A short appointment at the hospital before James has his MRI in a couple of weeks. Mahe will come in for that too
Michelle Isaac wrote on her Facebook profile.
"There is such a magic that happens between a child with autism and the dogs, they just calm the kids down," Wendy Isaacs, who works for the trust, told Stuff.co.nz. "The kids will maintain eye contact with the dog, but often not with their own parents and siblings."
This is an amazing story of a unique bond between the two friends. Dogs keep on proving to us they are the most loyal animals in the world.
