An American heroic military dog is being hailed after killing ISIS militants in a recent firefight in northern Iraq.
The incident took place in northern Iraq, near the ISIS fort in Mosul, and near the village where an American Navy SEAL was killed in a previous battle on May 3.
A small group of SAS commandos were in a route back to their base when suddenly one of their four vehicles was exploded by a roadside bomb. The troops were right away framed by about 50 ISIS militants, or more, who were armed with a pair of machine gun-mounted Toyotas, according to the British Paper, Daily Star Sunday.
The troops were attacked by fire shots from three directions. The commandos dismounted their vehicles and scrambled cover. What happens next is surprising for everyone and the jihadists in particular, as the battle raged, one of the U.S soldiers made up his mind to make the enemy taste the American might, or in this case the American bite.
Once the American military K9 dog was unleashed, the ISIS militants attempted shooting him. They failed!
The dog attacked one of the fighters, ripping into his face and neck. Both militants were screaming!
“(The dog) could sense the tension and had an overpowering urge to protects its handler and the other troops,” a source told Daily Star. “A snarling [German shepherd] running at you is very frightening and probably not something the jihadists had encountered. The dog did its job and returned to its handler with its tail wagging.”
The battle which took place this month, showed the differences between Western forces and ISIS militants. The battle showed a hero K9 military dog who is well trained to protect his partners and fight hard against the enemies!
