He Finally Finds A Family That Gives Him What He Really Deserves

dsa This is the story of a miserable dog who used to guard a property in Cairo, Egypt, and it seems like this dog took his job so seriously! It was a normal day in the neighborhood, until some people got too close to the property that he was guarding and he did what all dogs would do. "He barked and they cut his nose off," Lauren Connely of Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation (SNARR) told the Dodo. asx The dog whose name is Anubis after the ancient Egyptian god of the underworld wandered the city streets and was seen usually sleeping under a car. The poor Anubis couldn't ask for help but fortunately there was other people who became his voice. First it was the Animal Protection Foundation which is a local organization and cares for thousands of  stray animals in the country. Then it was  Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation (SNARR)'s turn to give some help! "We've taken dozens of animals from them and brought them to the States, animals who otherwise would be in agony in a country that cannot care for them," Connelly, a foster coordinator at the U.S, based group, said.  ccc Finally, it was the turn of many volunteers who made a group of drivers from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City to Olney, Maryland, the place where Anubis spent a week before being taken to through stops in Tennessee and then Fort Worth, Texas. 980x It may seem to be the underworld journey for Anubis. He was showered with love and lots of food. "He kind of eats upside down to compensate," Connelly explains.  He arrived to his final destination to live with a long-term foster family who have a big chance to be his forever family. vcx Share Anubis inspirational story with your family and friends!
