Cara was found by a rescue group based in Ireland. It seemed like the world is not a place worth living in, for Cara at least. The poor dog was deeply heartbroken and devastated, she couldn't face the world!
PAWS Animal Rescue Ireland uploaded a video last July of
Cara the recently rescued dog who appeared so disappointed. She couldn't take her face off the wall, in the small corner of her kennel.
Instead of showing up like any other dog, she kept pressing into the wall, she was making a clear effort to attract attention to herself.
Cara was checked by a vet to make sure she was alright and her health was in good status. She did not have any medical issues, and the vet assured the rescue team that the poor dog was not suffering from any serious medical conditions.
Cara was extremely nervous, in fact!
The video was posted with a caption "What had made her like this?"
In my opinion, all
Cara saw was darkness and all she felt was loneliness, so she could not face the world any more.
As time passed, she started to recognize the new world around her.
PAWS recently posted a photo of the depressed dog, looking a lot more happier than the video they initially showed.
Cara is a loving, smart and loyal dog. Soon she found a loving home with Michael and Theresa McGrath.
In this video, She seems to have a serious discussion with another dog while sitting on a couch!
Luckily
Cara had another chance to live in a forever home with loving humans who will make it up to her, and try to take away those horrile memories she has.
