Recently in Wilmington, Delaware, the
Faithful Friends Animal Society rescued three beautiful cats. Helen, Willis and Bruce were in rough condition when they arrived. While 7-years-old Helen arrived separately from the 10-weeks-old kittens Willis and Bruce, the furry trio had to have their eyes removed.
The three cats were completely blind and having difficulties to adapt to their new lives, that is when a volunteer at the shelter decided to help the poor cats. Although Sherry Stewart and her 14-years-old daughter are already taking care of two massive rescue pit bulls, they just could not to welcome the three kittens into their home – luckily for Helen, Willis and Bruce who were in bad need for someone to help making the transition easier for them.
The two pit bulls, 9-years-old Alfie and 4-years-old Frankie, were also rescued from cruel conditions. That is why they knew the meaning of struggling to survive when they were healing in Sherry’s care. The two pit bulls have bonded instantly with the three special needs cats!
According to Sherry, Alfie and Frankie have sensed the poor kittens were in needed care and, of course, were in desperate need of love as well. Amazingly, the two pit bulls have taken the role of surrogate moms; they just keep cuddling and kissing the cat trio as if they are their own little puppies! In fact, the pit bulls and the little cats became so comfortable all together that the kittens like to nap on the backs of the massive pit bulls!
This incredibly sweet family has proven so clearly that there are only bad owners, not bad dogs, and love is truly having no bounds.
