Breaking record, an abandoned dog was only homeless for two hours, read and find out how!

e1-600x450 At Human Society for Hamilton County, a dog named Ox was lying in bed, hopelessly hanging his head down. Ox's owner had surrendered him after 14 years of living together. Unluckily for the poor dog, the owner's new significant other was allergic to dogs, so Ox had been given up completely. Although the shelter staff are already used to seeing dogs being surrendered by their owners, due to many reasons, they admitted that the story of Ox was heartbreaking. Everyone at the shelter was hoping to find a loving home for the dog where he can spend the rest of his life. They posted a photo for Ox on their Facebook page just to show how sad and confused he was. The shelter's staff was worried that Ox was too stressed to be hopeful. 16-01-2016 04-52-35 م   In an unusual reverse of events, people on social media decided to help Ox, it seemed like animal lovers decided not to let him suffer any longer.  Only two hours after Ox's picture was posted online, something extraordinary happened, something incredible to the extent that it will restore anyone's faith in humanity. Just like wildfire, the story of Ox went viral. Abandoning this senior dog outraged people, especially knowing that the 14 years old dog lived all his life with this owner, all his lif! Visits, phone calls, and emails overwhelmed the staff of the shelter. It looked like that everyone who heard the story of Ox was clamoring to bring Ox home! In less than two hours after posting the story of Ox, the shelter had officially declared that Ox found a new loving home, and that it would be forever this time. ox-the-dog-with-owner-600x737 I don't want to be judgmental, but how did this owner have the ability to let go of his pet so easily.  Thanks to his new owner, Lee Ann, Ox will never be alone again, she will provide him with the love he needs for the rest of his days. According to Lee Ann, Ox is doing great with her family; he began to settle down and already started to bond with the family. The Human Society for Hamilton County is hoping that Ox's story may inspire more people to open their homes and hearts to more pets living in shelters.
