A Man Can't Stop Adopting Senior And Farm Animals

10-03-2016 01-22-41 م Steve Greig is more than just any other ordinary animal lover and you will tell you why! Now, his house in Denver, Colorado, is full of 10 dogs (most are senior dogs) and a pig named Bikini who believes she is a dog, two chickens, two ducks, two pigeons, some cats, a rabbit and a pond that's full of koi. Greig isn't a crazy man or something like that! 10-03-2016 01-23-33 م He is just a man with a lot of love and compassion for pets of all spices and he is a man that welcomes animals to his house. He makes sure to give animals with less luck a forever home, specially senior dogs. He offers them the forever loving home that they would ever need, and his unconditionally love that they deserve. "I grew up with a lot of pets," Greig told The Dodo. "Both my parents were animal lovers and they pretty much always let me have whatever I wanted as long as I could take care of it." 10-03-2016 01-23-49 م Greig's passion for animals has followed him to his adulthood as well. When he moved to his own home, he always had about three or four dogs living with him. But the death of one dog, in particular, was the main reason behind adopting the multi-spices big loving family that he has now. "I was just so distraught about (that death)" Greig said. "A month or two went by and I still felt so horrible about it. I decided that the only way I would feel better was if something good happened that probably wouldn't have happened if he had not died." That was the turning point in Greig's life! 10-03-2016 01-24-10 م He devoted his life to one mission which is picking up and adopting the "least adoptable" dogs. He made up his mind to give chances to these dogs in particular. "So (I adopted) a 12-year-old Chihuahua [named Eeyore] with a heart murmur and four bad knees and I brought him home and that was just the beginning of all the animals," Greig said. Only eight of these dogs belong to Greig, one belongs to his roommate and the last one belongs to his sister. "A normal day for me is getting up at 5 a.m. in the morning and making breakfast for all of them, which, you know, there's 10 (dogs) and most of them have different diets," he said. 10-03-2016 01-24-25 م The pig's previous owner was no longer able to keep her because of "landlord reasons," Greig said. He was told Bikini was already house-trained, with experience being around dogs. "I just thought, 'I'm not going to have much of a better chance getting a pet pig,'" he said. "That rabbit, someone just left him in my front yard is how I came to get him," Greig said. "I assume someone knew I had lots of animals and thought 'Yeah, he'll give him a good home.' So, I found him in my front yard one morning and I put him in the chicken coop because I wasn't sure what to do with him." 10-03-2016 01-24-51 م If you want to follow his amazing adventures, follow his account on Instagram "wolf gang".
