Bobby, the one year old still wears the green Christmas sweater volunteers at the shelter put him in, hoping he would attract attention of some family's heart.
The photo is breaking my heart into pieces, Bobby looks extremely miserable, and heartborken!
He is still waiting that one day one loving family that will pick him up and take him home with them. Sadly, his patience, unfortunately, was not kindly rewarded. He is still in the shelter, two months after Christmas!
On December 16,
Bobby faced his worst nightmare, when his family betrayed him and took him to the
Miami-Dade Animal Care Center. Taking his leash off and walking away, leaving him behind, all alone!
Now two months later,
Bobby is listed as "Code red" because everyone has passed him by and totally ignored him. He has broken the hearts of the staff, volunteers, and my heart too!
All the poor dog does is just sit with his head dangling down at the gate of his kennel. He seems to know the feeling of being rejected and understands that no one really wants him! Poor Bobby!!
